The Golden State Warriors, who just defeated the Chicago Bulls last night will now travel to Fiserv Forum to take on the Milwaukee Bucks for the second half of a back-to-back.  This will be the first time Milwaukee and Golden State match up this season.

Milwaukee Bucks vs Golden State Warriors Spread Set at 11.5, Over/Under 246.5 Points

The spread for tonight’s matchup is set at 11.5 points in favor of Milwaukee.  The Warriors will be without Chris Paul (left hand surgery) and Moses Moody (calf) for tonight’s contest.  Draymond Green, who was recently released from his suspension from the NBA a few days ago is listed as a game-time decision.  If Green suits up, expect the line to shift in the Warriors favor.

The Bucks are 17-4 at Fiserv Forum this season and are coming off a blowout victory versus the Boston Celtics, who are the number 1 team in the Eastern Conference.  While they may assert more dominance at home, Milwaukee are 16-22 against the spread and struggle to guard perimeter scorers.  Golden State is 17-20-1 against the spread with a 7-9 record on the road this season.

The total points line is set at 246.5 for tonight’s contest.  While these two opponents haven’t shared the floor yet this season, both teams are top 10 in points per game and points allowed on the defensive end.  Milwaukee averages over 125 points per game at home and the Warriors have more success offensively on the road, averaging just under 120 points a night.  There is value in 246.5 total points going over in tonight’s contest.

Klay Thompson Over 22.5 Points +Rebounds (-130 on FanDuel Sportsbook)

Klay Thompson is starting to catch fire after dropping 30 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists while sinking 7 three pointers versus Chicago.  The Bucks give up the second most points to shooting guards in the league along with 6.3 rebounds per game.  Which favors Thompson to combine for 22.5 points and rebounds against Milwaukee tonight.

Khris Middleton Over 15.5 Points (-130 on FanDuel Sportsbook)

Khris Middleton, who only played 20 minutes in the blowout win versus Boston on Thursday has a favorable matchup tonight versus Golden State.  Middleton has hit this line in 9 of the last 10 games against the Warriors, who give up over 21 points per game to opposing small forwards.  With the added rest and recent success, there is value in Middleton to go over his 15.5 points line.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 31.5 Points (-125 on Draft Kings Sportsbook)

Giannis Antetokounmpo has started the new year with two 40-plus point performances and has a chance to have another big game tonight.  Golden State has struggled to guard forwards since Draymond Green’s suspension started and just let DeMar DeRozan drop 39 points last night.  Even if Green suits up for the contest, Antetokounmpo to go over 31.5 points still holds value considering his dominance this season.

Coverage for tonight’s contest will begin at 8:00 PM Eastern time streaming live on NBA TV.
