The Milwaukee Bucks got it done on Thursday night against the Orlando Magic. It was far from a stellar performance from Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. but at the end of the day, they were still able to carve out the win, 118-114.

Win or lose, there is one thing Giannis is adamant about, and that’s the fact that the Bucks are still a work in progress. They are one of the hottest teams in the NBA right now after logging their sixth straight win on Thursday, but there’s no denying that there’s still a lot of work that needs to be done.

“We gotta get better,” Antetokounmpo said, via Eric Nehm of The Athletic. “We are good, but we have to get better. There’s things that have to happen offensively and defensively. Like, it has to be automatic. Everybody has to be working on a string. Everyone has to be on the same page. We are on the same page at times, but at times, we’re not on the same page. And our talent helps us, obviously. And it’s good to be able to be talented and still play an ugly game and still win.”

As Giannis said, it’s a testament to Milwaukee to be able to come home with a W after playing the way they did against Orlando.

There’s no time to celebrate for Antetokounmpo, though. The job is not done, and he knows that they need to work even harder to reach their objectives.

    Buying In

The Bucks talisman has also called upon his team to buy in completely to what they’re trying to do. Being a talented group is one thing, but Giannis knows that every single member of the squad has to be 100% all in for this to be able to work:

“But there are steps that we have to get to,” he said. “And I think there’s going to be a time that we are going to believe. Like, everybody believes that we are good and that we can win in this locker room, but there’s a moment that we believe. Like, we really believe that this s— is ours. We are not there yet. It’s going to take a long time for us to get there. Maybe, we might not even get there, but let’s see for the next 25 games how we go.”

      So strong.
Just like when you terrible writers misuse ‘concerning’ and ‘devastating’ so often.
Hyperbole is considered very bad writing most of the time and should be used sparingly instead of the way you idiots constantly blow things out of proportion and use hyperbole in EVERY headline. Even the use of ‘history’ is a mistake when ‘milestones’ should be used.

When it’s all minor day to day stuff.

This 5th grade writing just isn’t cutting it anymore.
