The Milwaukee Bucks take on Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night. As it turns out, Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo got a bit of the Curry spirit during the morning shootaround at the Chase Center.
For a moment there, Giannis looked like the second coming of the greatest shooter of all time.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Goes Full Steph Curry
Giannis took part in his team’s shootaround on Wednesday morning to test his Achilles injury. The former back-to-back MVP is officially questionable to play against Golden State after missing Monday’s win over the Los Angeles Clippers. Well, it didn’t look like his Achilles was bothering him during shootaround as he incredibly knocked down eight straight makes from beyond the arc:

Even Steph would be proud of that streak.
I guess it’s safe to say that Giannis should be good to go for Wednesday’s contest. However, we should get final confirmation from the Bucks in the next hour or so.
UPDATE: True enough, the Bucks have now cleared Antetokounmpo to play against the Warriors:

Brook Lopez Almost Cancelled Morning Shootaround
The Bucks nearly got their morning shootaround canceled courtesy of a Brook Lopez half-court shot. Head coach Doc Rivers made a bet with the former All-Star big man about canceling shootaround if Lopez drained his attempt from the hallway line. And so he did:

EPIC. The Bucks, however, decided that they would hold Rivers to his promise on another day.
It seems to me like Steph’s home floor has a certain effect on the Bucks players. Let’s just hope it translates to tonight’s game.
