The Milwaukee Bucks are in dire need of a win on Tuesday night following Sunday’s deflating loss to the Utah Jazz. This is the final stop of what has been a brutal five-game road trip for the Bucks, and they will obviously want to end it with a victory before they head back home to Milwaukee.
There is a bit of concern surrounding Giannis Antetokounmpo’s playing status, though, after the two-time NBA MVP was included in the injury report heading into Tuesday’s clash. The question now is this: Is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Suns?
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Playing Status Vs. Suns
According to the official injury report, Antetokounmpo is probable to play in Phoenix due to a right knee injury. Giannis’ status remains unchanged now that we are just a few hours away from tip-off, which is probably a good thing.
The eight-time All-Star played through this same injury on Sunday night in their gutting loss to Utah, and he looked good for the most part. Giannis finished with a game-high 33 points, with seven rebounds and 13 assists, and it didn’t seem like the knee was an issue.
Barring any unforeseen setbacks, Giannis should be good to go on Tuesday night as he looks to lead the Bucks against Kevin Durant and Co.
So, with regard to the question of is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Suns, the answer is that it’s highly likely.
UPDATE: The Bucks have cleared Giannis and he will play on Tuesday against Phoenix.
