Al Harris And Mike McCarthy Go Way Back
In McCarthy’s first few seasons as NFL head coach, he and Harris worked together with the Packers from 2006 through 2010. Both will continue to work closely together to develop Dallas’ impressive secondary.
After Dan Quinn left for a head coaching position with the Washington Commanders, the Cowboys will have to continue to rely on the secondary to force turnovers, however, it will be a new defensive coordinator. The team’s defensive backs will be tested a lot by veteran coach Mike Zimmer’s quarters coverage scheme.
