There’s no denying Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the few players in the NBA who can turn the tide for any team. His career alone playing for the Milwaukee Bucks is proof of his dominance, as he has led the franchise to multiple playoff appearances and a championship during this time there.
During the 2020-21 season, the one where he led the Bucks to the promised land, Antetokounmpo posted averages of 28.1 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 5.9 assists. He took those numbers to the next level when the Greek Freak averaged 30.2 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 5.1 assists during the playoffs that year.
As such, it would not be surprising at all to see him win a ring again this year, especially with Antetokounmpo’s partnership with Damian Lillard, one of the NBA’s best players to play point guard. And even though the All-Star forward has some issues to deal with on the court, he still warrants a place in the conversation of the all-time greats.

Along with a championship, Antetokounmpo stands a good chance of winning the NBA’s Most Valuable Player award this season, all thanks to a set of dominant stats he’s putting up.

With that kind of performance on a nightly basis, it only makes sense for Antetokounmpo to be in the MVP conversation. Sure, Nikola Jokic and Luka Doncic may be good names to consider, but the Greek Freak surely needs to be talked about more.
As the NBA moves closer to its All-Star Weekend, the playoffs will come soon after that. Keep an eye out for Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks as they attempt to win another ring in the coming months.
