Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is dealing with a new injury. He was previously nursing patellar tendinitis in his right knee, which had him perpetually listed on the team’s injury report. Right now, though, the two-time NBA MVP has sustained an Achilles injury — one that has put his availability for Tuesday’s contest against the Los Angeles Clippers in danger.
The big question now is this: Is Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Clippers?
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Could Sit Out Clippers Game
According to the official injury report, Giannis is considered questionable to play with tendinitis in his left Achilles. This is the first we’ve heard of this knock, which points to the notion that Antetokounmpo may have picked it up in Milwaukee’s last game — a 113-97 victory against the Chicago Bulls on Friday.
It is worth noting that Giannis has been a regular on the injury report over the past couple of weeks, but he has not missed a game since January 17. Then again, Antetokounmpo has always been listed as probable to play, so the questionable tag heading into Monday’s showdown is a bit of a cause for concern.
So, with regard to the question of is Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Clippers, the answer is that his status is currently up in the air.
We will provide an update here once his final status has been revealed.
UPDATE: The Bucks have ruled Giannis out for Monday’s contest:
