After breaking the record for the most rebounds in Milwaukee Bucks history during Sunday’s 128-119 victory over the Houston Rockets, Giannis Antetokounmpo is now the proud owner of virtually every single record for the franchise.
One record, in particular, that remains out of reach for the former back-to-back MVP is the all-time 3-point record. At the moment, Giannis has just 504 triples to his name and is ranked seventh on the elite list. The current record-holder is Khris Middleton, who has amassed 1,281 triples during his time in Milwaukee.
Giannis Gunning for Middleton’s Milwaukee Bucks Record
Giannis has made it abundantly clear, however, that he has every intention of knocking his star teammate off the perch. According to Antetokounmpo, the next record he is now gunning for is Middleton’s all-time 3-point mark:
Hey @Khris22m, I'm coming for 3's next 🤣🤣🤣 pic.twitter.com/BXtVii8JdR

The three ROFL emojis indicate that Antetokounmpo is just kidding around. After all, he isn’t exactly considered a 3-point sharpshooter.
Then again, given what this man has done throughout his career, it would not be a complete shock if the former back-to-back MVP suddenly adds a 3-point shot to his arsenal if he sets his mind to it.
Khris Middleton Is Having None of It
Middleton and Giannis actually had a hilarious exchange about these records even before Antetokounmpo sent out his declaration on Twitter. Middleton said flat out that Giannis just isn’t catching his 3-point record:
Khris Middleton on if he ever thought Giannis would hold all of these franchise records:
"Helllllll nah. Hell nah. Now he's got everything — except for the three ball."
Giannis in the background: "It might take me 20 years, but I'm gonna get it [the three record]."

Middleton then responded to Antetokounpo’s Twitter warning with a hilarious GIF of himself:

Needless to say, Middleton is standing his ground in saying that there’s just no way Giannis is touching his Bucks record.
