The Milwaukee Bucks could be extremely shorthanded on Sunday night when they take on the Utah Jazz at the Delta Center. This is after no less than four of their starters were listed on the injury report heading into the contest.
This includes Bucks talisman Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is dealing with a knee injury. With tip-off just a few hours away, the fans want to know: Is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Jazz?
Giannis Antetokounmpo Listed on Milwaukee Bucks’ Injury Report Vs. Jazz
According to the official injury report, Giannis is currently nursing an issue in his right knee. To be more specific, the Bucks have indicated that the former back-to-back MVP is dealing with patella tendinitis in his knee.
The good news here is that Antetokounmpo is considered probable to play. This means that we are likely to see him take the floor against Utah, especially if Damian Lillard (questionable) is ultimately ruled out from the game.
It is worth noting that both Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez have been ruled out with respective injuries, which will make Giannis’ availability in the game even more crucial.
If for some reason Antetokounmpo and Lillard are both unable to go on Sunday night, it would mean that the Bucks will be without four of their starters in the fourth game of their current five-game road trip.
We should get final confirmation on Antetokounmpo’s status closer to tip-off, and we will be sure to update this article once that information is available.
For now, however, with regard to the question of is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Jazz, the answer is that it’s likely.
