The Milwaukee Bucks will be looking to get some revenge against the Denver Nuggets on Monday night. This is after the defending champs handed them a 113-107 loss in their first meeting this season on January 29.
Bucks talisman Giannis Antetokounmpo, however, was listed on the injury report heading into the game as he continues to deal with a right knee issue. With tip-off just hours away, the big question surrounding the former back-to-back MVP is this: Is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Nuggets?
Milwaukee Bucks Have Giannis Antetokounmpo Litsed on Injury Report Vs. Nuggets
Milwaukee supporters will be glad to know that despite his presence on the injury report, Antetokounmpo is considered probable to play against Nikola Jokic and Co. The eight-time All-Star is still nursing patellar tendinitis in his right knee, which has led to Giannis being a regular on the injury report of late.
He has, however, been able to play through the injury over the past few games, and this is likely to be the case again for Monday’s marquee matchup.
We should get final confirmation from the Bucks soon, and we will be sure to pass along any new updates as they come.
For now, with regard to the question of is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Nuggets, the answer is that it’s highly likely.
UPDATE: Giannis Antetokounmpo will play tonight.
