The Milwaukee Bucks have a big one coming up on Monday night as they take on Nikola Jokic and the defending champions Denver Nuggets at the Fiserv Forum. They have already submitted their injury report ahead of the marquee showdown, and it could be a bit of concern that their entire Big 3 has been listed on the pre-game report.
Milwaukee Bucks Stars Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard Probable Vs. Nuggets
The good news here is that both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard are considered probable to play on Monday night. Giannis is still dealing with patellar tendinitis in his right knee, while Dame is nursing a left ankle sprain.
What’s even more encouraging here is that both Antetokounmpo and Lillard suited up in Milwaukee’s last game — a 120-84 blowout win against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday. The lopsided nature of the victory also allowed head coach Doc Rivers to cut down on the minutes of his stars with Giannis and Dame logging just 24 and 29 minutes, respectively.
Barring any unforeseen setbacks, both superstars should be good to go against Denver.
Khris Middleton, however, will be sidelined for a third consecutive game. He too has a left ankle sprain and according to Coach Doc, the three-time All-Star currently has no timetable to return.
Nuggets Injury Report
As for the Nuggets, Michael Porter Jr. is listed as probable to play with a right knee issue. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, however, is questionable with a tightness in his right hamstring.
Fourth-year power forward Vlatko Cancar remains out indefinitely after undergoing surgery in his left knee. Denver has no other prominent injury issues for Monday’s contest.
