To say that Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo completely dominated the Washington Wizards on Monday night would be an understatement at this point. An undeniable testament to this fact is how the seven-time All-Star missed just three out of his 23 attempts from the field for a game-high 42 points.
It goes without saying that Giannis was the driving force for Milwaukee as they took down the Wizards on their own home floor, 142-129.
Milwaukee Bucks Coach Comments on Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Dominance
After the game, Bucks head coach Adrian Griffin tried to put into words what he saw from Antetokounmpo. He hit the nail on the head with his straightforward description of Giannis’ utter dominance over their opponents on the evening:
“Unstoppable,” Griffin said, via Eric Nehm of The Athletic. “He literally is unstoppable. And you couple him with the other special talent that we have, it really frees him up to do what he does best. You’re gonna have to send multiple bodies at him, and that’s going to leave some really good shooters open. Man, he was in his rhythm tonight. He’s unstoppable. You can’t stop him.”
I don’t think the Wizards will have any qualms about that notion after Monday night. After all, Giannis dropped an absolute gem on them as the former back-to-back MVP logged 42 points, 13 rebounds, eight assists, a steal, and a block in 34 minutes of action.
Talk about a great day at the office for the Bucks talisman, right?
