Wednesday’s high-octane showdown between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics had no shortage of action.
One particular moment that has piqued the interest of basketball fans everywhere was an incident in the third quarter wherein Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo was seen having a spirited conversation with head coach Adrian Griffin on the sidelines. At that point, the former back-to-back MVP did not seem very pleased with what his coach had to say to him.

After the game, Coach Griff was quick to play down the sideline argument. The first-year shot-caller said that it was much ado about nothing and that it was merely a heat-of-the-moment type of conversation:
“He wanted to stay in, I wanted to give him a breather. That’s all it was,” Griffin said afterward, via ESPN’s Tim Bontemps. “And then I told him to stay at the table for one possession, and he got right back out there.”
I guess you could say Giannis got his way this time around.

Giannis Refuses to Shed Light on Argument
For his part, however, Antetkounmpo had a very interesting reaction to the incident during his post-game interview. When asked by reporters to explain what happened, Giannis clapped back with a one-word response:
“No,” he said.
Obviously, Antetokounmpo was not in a very good mood after the game, considering how they just lost against one of their toughest rivals in the Eastern Conference. However, the media and fans alike probably expected more from the Bucks talisman in terms of trying to explain the nature of the argument.
Giannis could have very easily put this issue to bed by playing it down — just like what Griffin did — but for some reason, he opted not to do so.
