Green Bay Packers fans, as well as fans of every team, are eagerly awaiting the NFL schedule to be released later tonight. Despite it officially not being released, several games, matchups, and start times have already been leaked. This morning, the NFL announced its international schedule and the Packers, of course, will open their season in Sao Paolo, Brazil against the Philadelphia Eagles.
They are one of three NFC North teams that will play overseas this season. Both the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings will play one of their home games in London. The Detroit Lions are the only team in the division without an international game.
While the teams that the Packers will face in regular season have been known for months, both at home and away, the exact dates and times for the games have not been released.
However, one Packers insider has learned that fans will be treated to yet another holiday game this year.
The Green Bay Packers Will Play the Miami Dolphins on Thanksgiving
According to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, the Packers will play the Miami Dolphins at Lambeau Field on Thanksgiving night:

Last year, the Packers played the Lions on Thanksgiving Day on the road in Detroit. They won that game 29-22 behind a three-touchdown performance by Jordan Love. He also completed 22 of 32 passes for 268 yards.
Christian Watson had five receptions for 94 yards and a touchdown. Jayden Reed and Tucker Kraft each caught touchdown passes as well. Kraft’s was his first career touchdown reception.
Former safety Jonathan Owens also returned a fumble for a touchdown in that game.
The Green Bay Packers Last Played the Miami Dolphins on Christmas Day
The last time the Packers played the Dolphins was on Christmas Day in 2022. Green Bay won that game by the score of 26-20. The win featured stellar defense that saw the Packers’ defense force turnovers: a fumble and three interceptions (Jaire Alexander, De’Vondre Campbell, and Rasul Douglas).
Mason Crosby hit four field goals and Aaron Rodgers threw a touchdown pass to Marcedes Lewis. AJ Dillon added a touchdown on the ground.
The win was vital for the Packers at the time because it took them to 7-8 on the season and kept their playoff hopes alive. Had they beaten the Lions in Week 18 that season, they would have clinched a spot in the NFC Playoffs.
