Milwaukee Bucks news: At full strength, the Detroit Pistons, unfortunately, are one of the worst teams in the NBA right now. They’re obviously even worse when a couple of their key players are out injured.
This has been the case for Detroit of late, including on Saturday against the Bucks. Cade Cunningham and Isaiah Stweart were both out, and it looks like this could be the case again come Monday in their rematch against Milwaukee.
The good news for the Pistons, however, is that one player could be making his much-awaited debut following a lengthy injury spell.
Monte Morris Could Play Vs. Milwaukee Bucks

6-foot-2 point guard Monte Morris joined the Pistons this summer via trade from the Washington Wizards. In exchange, Detroit sent a 2027 second-round pick to the Wizards in order to acquire the services of the 28-year-old.
Morris, however, has been dealing with a lingering right quad injury all season long. He has been working his way back to full strength, but he has yet to play a single game for the Pistons thus far.
This could all change on Monday, though. Officially, Morris is listed as doubtful to play, but this is a considerable development for both the former Iowa State standout and the Pistons.

Ultimately, Morris could end up sitting out again on Wednesday, but the fact that he has been upgraded to doubtful means that he’s closing in on his much-anticipated return to the court.
It is worth noting that Morris is on an expiring deal. The Pistons are likely going to bring him back as quickly as they can as they assess the possibility of cashing in on the former Denver Nuggets guard prior to the February trade deadline.
