The Milwaukee Bucks finally got back to winning ways on Friday night with an emphatic 120-84 victory over the Charlotte Hornets. This is after the team had struggled mightily, losing five out of its last six games. They need another win on Monday night, but it will be a much tougher task for them as they face off against the defending champions Denver Nuggets at the Fiserv Forum.
Bucks superstar Damian Lillard has been dealing with a left ankle sprain of late and he has been listed on the injury report again for Monday’s showdown. As such, the fans want to know: Is Damian Lillard playing tonight vs. the Nuggets?
Milwaukee Bucks List Damian Lillard on Injury Report Vs. Nuggets
Lillard has been somewhat of a regular on Milwaukee’s injury report over the past several games. The 33-year-old has not fully healed from his left ankle sprain, and he is on Monday’s report yet again. The good news, however, is that Lillard is considered probable to play against the Nuggets.
Dame returned to action for the Bucks on Friday after missing the last two games. His ankle looked fine, logging 26 points on 9-of-18 shooting, to go along with four rebounds, eight assists, and three steals in 29 minutes of action.
It does not sound like the eight-time All-Star re-aggravated the injury, so barring any unforeseen setbacks, he should be good to go on Monday.
So, with regard to the question of is Damian Lillard playing tonight vs. the Nuggets, the answer is that it’s very likely.
UPDATE: Lillard will suit up tonight against Denver.
Per head coach Doc Rivers, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard are going to be available for the Bucks tonight. https://t.co/TPpqBDwEtp
