Efficiency-wise, Milwaukee Bucks sharpshooter Malik Beasley is currently the most dangerous 3-point marksman in the entire NBA. By averaging 48.1 percent from distance, the 27-year-old leads the league in 3-point field goal percentage.
However, even Beasley himself would be happy to defer to superstar Damian Lillard when it comes to crunch time.
Milwaukee Bucks’ Malik Beasley Spills on Damian Lillard’s Heroics Vs. Kings
This was literally what happened on Sunday night when Lillard took down the Sacramento Kings with a 32-foot buzzer-beater to win the game in overtime.
Beasley had another big game for the Bucks against Sacramento, draining another five triples for 23 points. However, the 6-foot-4 shooting guard knew exactly what was going to happen when Lillard got his hands on the ball with 5.4 seconds remaining in the game and Milwaukee down two points.
“I was in the corner, just in case, ready to go,” Beasley said, via Gabe Stoltz of Brew Hoop. “And I saw him slow down, actually with five seconds to go, so I was like…okay, this is definitely Dame Time. And it was Dame Time. And the rest is history.”
Beasley was also confident that Lillard was going to find the bottom of the net when the seven-time All-Star threw up a last-second heave from near mid-court.

As Beasley so aptly put it, the rest was history.
