Milwaukee Bucks point guard Damian Lillard scored 30 points in another win over the Brooklyn Nets 115-108. This is the second straight night that Lillard scored 30 or more points in a game. He scored 32 points against the Boston Celtics on the road on Wednesday night despite losing 122-119.
Along with Lillard’s 30 points, he also grabbed three rebounds, recorded 12 assists, and recorded two assists. He has been a very good playmaker as of late for the Bucks. Those assist numbers help when he has Giannis Antetokounmpo on his basketball team.

Antetokounmpo scored 21 points, grabbed nine rebounds, recorded five assists, and recorded two blocks. He missed the last two games with a hamstring injury and it was a good thing to have him return to game action. After the game, Lillard spoke to the media about distributing the basketball to his teammates. He told Eric Nehm of The Athletic by saying:
“When they shoot the ball, I expect it to go in. I think that’s the biggest difference, not just them having the ability to do it. I’ve been on a team where we’ve had guys in practice and workouts, you see them shooting it and they can make it, but when it’s pressure in the game, the other’s team on a run, not shooting the ball great, to still shoot them and still be able to make them and still be able to make them when the team needs them, that’s different.”
Three Other Players Score in Double Figures For Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks Against the Brooklyn Nets

Other than Antetokounmpo and Lillard doing the heavy lifting for the Bucks on Thursday night against the Brooklyn Nets, three other players helped in the scoring department. Brook Lopez scored 17 points and grabbed five rebounds. Malik Beasley scored 16 points and AJ Green scored 15 points off the bench for Milwaukee.

Green has stepped in a few instances off the bench this season for the Bucks and Damian Lillard has given him high praise. This is a deep enough basketball team to make a run in the NBA playoffs. With the win, the Milwaukee Bucks improved to 45-25 on the season and are the two seed in the Eastern Conference.
As for the Brooklyn Nets, they dropped to 26-44 on the year. Brooklyn doesn’t appear to be heading to the NBA playoffs this season.
