Milwaukee Bucks news: The Cleveland Cavaliers have been without star point guard Darius Garland for more than a month now as he continues to nurse a fractured jaw. The good news for the Cavs is that the 23-year-old has been ramping up his activity of late as he prepares for his much-awaited return from injury.
The Cavs are in action on Wednesday against their Central Division rivals, the Milwaukee Bucks at the Fiserv Forum. The big question for them right now is this: Is Darius Garland playing tonight vs. the Bucks?
Darius Garland OUT Vs. Milwaukee Bucks
Unfortunately for Cleveland, Garland still isn’t ready to go. Cavs head coach J.B. Bickerstaff announced last week that Garland won’t be joining his team for their current four-game road trip, which started on Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks.
The Cavs play two games in Milwaukee in three days, with their matchup on Friday night being the final game of this current road stand. Garland won’t play in that game either, and his next chance to return will be on Monday in a home game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Cavs Dealing With Multiple Injuries
Garland is far from the only player on Cleveland’s injury report for Wednesday’s bout. Evan Mobley remains out as he recovers from surgery in his left knee. Ty Jerome is out with a sprained right ankle, while Tristan Thompson will remain sidelined as he serves a league-mandated suspension. 6-foot-6 wing Caris LeVert is questionable to play with a sprained right wrist.
However, with regard to the question of Is Darius Garland playing tonight vs. the Bucks? The answer is no.
