Like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the Milwaukee Bucks are about to gain another Top 100 scorer amongst their ranks – Brook Lopez.
In the case of Abdul-Jabbar, the Bucks legend is the second-leading scorer in NBA history, while Antetokounmpo is at 89th place with 17,558 points and counting.

In the case of Lopez, the former Brooklyn Nets star has played 16 seasons, with averages of 16.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.9 blocks per game. He’s also hitting almost 50 percent from the field and 34 percent from beyond the arc, while being reliable on defense on a nightly basis.
Lopez remains an integral part of the Bucks’ roster this season as the one-time All-Star big man is averaging 12.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 2.9 blocks per contest. His ability to space the floor by hitting from downtown gives Antetokounmpo and other players on the team a chance to attack the basket more.
Milwaukee Bucks’ Brook Lopez About To Achieve NBA Top 100 Feat Soon

As it stands, Brook Lopez is about to enter a list few NBA players have made, much like what Khris Middleton has achieved recently. The Bucks’ big man is about to join the league’s top 100 scorers of all time if he keeps up his pace on the court.
In a tweet by Scott Grodsky:
Brook Lopez continues his climb towards being a top 100 scorer in NBA history.
He’s now up to 117th passing Kyle Lowry, Derek Harper, Rasheed Wallace, Amar’e Stoudemire, Kiki Vandeweghe and Pete Maravich over the past couple of weeks.

As of now, Lopez is in the 117th place with 16,042 points under his belt. If he manages to amass more than 1,200 points before he retires, the one-time All-Star center will make it to the league’s top 100 scorers.
Lopez has come to this point by surpassing the likes of Kyle Lowry, Derek Harper, Rasheed Wallace, Amar’e Stoudemire, Kiki Vandeweghe and Pete Maravic during the past few weeks.
At this point in time, Lopez will have to get those buckets and pass the likes of Kyrie Irving, Anthony Davis, Grant Hill, Joe Dumars, and Latrell Sprewell, among others. The first two names, of course, are well-known scorers and are still playing for their respective teams these days.
In any case, fans will have to watch out for Lopez in the coming months to see if he can make the list sooner than later. If he does, expect the Milwaukee Bucks to celebrate this momentous event in the big man’s career sometime soon in the future, much like what Antetokounmpo shared during Middleton’s big night.
