The Milwaukee Bucks just got themselves utterly embarrassed on Wednesday night. This was after a Giannis Antetokounmpo-less Bucks side suffered their worst defeat of the season, 135-95, to a Cleveland Cavaliers squad that was missing the services of two of their starters.
Naturally, Milwaukee fans weren’t at all happy with this gutting defeat, and they decided to bring out their pitchforks on rookie head coach Adrian Griffin. Again.
Milwaukee Bucks Fans Want Adrian Griffin Fired
You can understand the frustration of Bucks supporters. After all, it’s not every day that they lose by 40 points — to a Central Division rival, no less.
Damian Lillard did all he could sans Giannis, finishing with a team-high 17 points on 7-of-20 shooting. Khris Middleton and Malik Beasley, though, combined for just four points on 2-of-16 shooting between them.
As expected, it was Donovan Mitchell who torched the Bucks in this one, en route to 31 points on 12-of-19 shooting. However, the biggest surprise of the night was how Georges Niang dropped a career-high 33 points on a hapless Milwaukee defense.
All these have compounded to some overly disappointed Bucks fans calling for Griffin’s head:
Just an embarrassment. Fire Griffin!

The Adrian Griffin factor will be costing the Bucks 5-7 points in every playoff game.

Griffin not fired yet?

Adrian Griffin stinks. Fire him

This is not the first time Griffin has gotten himself on the hot seat after an atrocious performance by his team — at least in the eyes of the fans. The Bucks front office, however, seem to have an unwavering faith in their head coach. At least for now.
