The Milwaukee Brewers and Kansas City Royals will square off against one another as a part of Major League Baseball’s first ever Spring Breakout game. All 30 ball clubs are participating and games will feature rosters consisting of each organization’s top prospects. The event starts on March 14 and the Brew Crew plays in the final game at 6:05 PM CT Sunday, March 17. That game will be televised on Bally Sports Wisconsin.
Rosters have not been announced yet, but a lot of the Brewers top prospects are excited about the opportunity to showcase their skills on perhaps what will be the biggest stage during Spring Training.
Milwaukee Brewers star pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski would be honored to participate in the Spring Breakout game.

“It would be exciting. It’s like the Futures Game. It would be fun. It would be an honor. I want to play the best. I want to face the best.”
-Jacob Misiorowski
Pitchers Robert Gasser and Carlos Rodriguez share similar excitements towards playing in the Spring Breakout game.

“It’s cool that they are setting up something hopefully for the future of the game and the players that will be in it. It would be really crazy. Probably a pretty high adrenaline experience because you are facing off against the other best prospects around.
Seeing what a team could look like in the future, I feel like that is exciting for the fans. They get to watch and feel like that is something they can look forward to. [MLB officials] are doing a lot of new things now to keep it going. I like it.”
-Robert Gasser
“It shows the fans what teams are developing and what their top prospects look like. Most of them just see [players’] names in the paper and never actually see them play. It’s a good event for that.”
-Carlos Rodriguez
Prospect Wes Clarke desperately wants to play in the Spring Breakout game.
