This guaranteed them home field advantage during the best of three games Wild Card Series, but until the final day of the regular season they did not know who their opponent would be. We now know that it will be the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Arizona won four games and lost two against Milwaukee. Their first series (three games) was in April and their last match up was in June.
When was the last time these two teams met in the playoffs?
Milwaukee and Arizona last met during the NLDS in 2011 in which Nyjer Morgan hit a walk-off single in game five to send the Brewers into the NLCS.
