The Milwaukee Brewers have an exciting crop of prospects both in their farm system and in the big leagues. They have players of different ages that are all thriving at various levels. This includes players who signed as international free agents, were drafted, or were acquired via trade. For one prospect they recently found out that they will be going up a level in the minor leagues.
Milwaukee Brewers No. 14 ranked prospect promoted to Double-A Biloxi Shuckers.

Mike Boeve, the Brewers 14th ranked prospect, is getting an early season promotion to Double-A. Boeve, the team’s 54th overall pick in last year’s draft, began the 2024 season where he ended last year which was with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. To begin this year he was hitting the cover off the baseball as he had a 1.274 OPS across 38 at-bats.

The Biloxi Shuckers are currently without Brock Wilken.

Brock Wilken, who was selected ahead of Boeve in last year’s draft, began this season with the Shuckers. Unfortunately he was hit in the head by a pitch and underwent surgery after sustaining multiple facial fractures. No timeline for return has been provided, but it’s possible that these top 2023 draft picks could be reunited on the same field at some point this season.
A few other roster moves were announced.
