The Milwaukee Brewers have partnered with Northwestern Mutual to become the 15th team in Major League Baseball with a jersey patch. A few of the other teams with patches include the San Diego Padres (Motorla), Boston Red Sox (MassMutual), Arizona Diamondbacks (Avnet), and Cincinnati Reds (Kroger). This patch will make its debut on Friday night against the Washington Nationals.

Northwestern Mutual and the Milwaukee Brewers have partnered together for a jersey patch.

The Brewers and Northwestern Mutual’s agreement is said to be a multi year contract. This will be an extra source of money for Brewers owner Mark Attanasio, but per Rick Schlesinger all of the money made from this agreement will go towards players, fans, the stadium, and it’s employees.
“Every dollar that comes in, Mark [Attanasio] says, it’s going to be used for putting the best team on the field, enhancing the experience, keeping and retaining our best employees, and making sure the ballpark is great.”

Both the Milwaukee Brewers and Northwestern Mutual declined to comment on the dollar amounts involved in his deal, but this does expand upon the partnership that both parties have with one another for Northwestern Mutual is now the Brewers’ official financial planning partner. This covers uniform patches, additional advertising in the ballpark, on television and in digital spaces, and support of a community program called Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation that has the goal of finding better treatments and cures for childhood cancer.
