The Milwaukee Brewers made a major announcement with Northwestern Mutual as they announced a multi year jersey patch sponsorship. Exact details of their contract are unknown, but Rick Schlesinger has made a public statement saying that all of the profits will remain in house and go towards players, fans, the stadium, and it’s employees.
Following the team hosting a special press conference to announce this fans reacted to the Brewers major announcement on social media.

So, basically the Brewers are owned by insurance companies…the park is named after American Family Insurance. If you are buying insurance from a company paying this much for sponsorship, you are overpaying.

Born in Janesville, HQ’ed in downtown Milwaukee and they advertised heavily in County Stadium in its last days. A corporate link to Brewers past. I know not everyone is crazy about jersey sponsors but at least it’s only a shoulder patch and not on the front like in Europe
