The Milwaukee Brewers have invested money and resources into perhaps the best baseball academy of all 30 ball clubs. In the Dominican Republic prospects of the team, including those outside of the Dominican Republic, can report to the facility, receive housing, proper meals for an athlete, English instruction, and baseball training.

This video, provided courtesy of the Brewers, shows clips from their previous academies, construction on the new site, and interviews from GM Matt Arnold as well as some prospects. 18 year old Yophery Rodriguez, who was the teams high paid international free agent in 2023, is featured the most frequently.
Which current Brewers players have developed through their previous sites?
Prior to the construction of this beautiful facility, players like Jackson Chourio and Abner Uribe were developed at the previous sites. Chourio just inked the largest contract of any prospect to not yet make their MLB Debut and he currently is a symbol and model of showing how hard work at a young age can pay off. Through the Brewers instruction and his hard work Milwaukee advanced him through the minor leagues quickly and he now is drawing Ronald Acuna Jr comparisons.
This facility also helps the Milwaukee Brewers brand grow.
Gord Ash, who is the vice president of baseball projects, talked about how this facility helps the Brewers in a lot of different ways, including growing their brand and showing other agents the resources that they have available.
“And then — and this is hard to measure: We wanted to give the Brewers brand more profile. Some people didn’t know who we were, or where we were. When it came to signing players, maybe they didn’t know what we were about or what our resources were. But that’s changed, because when you have a great facility, those facilities are a magnet for players and agents.”
