    Milwaukee Brewers: Begin Three-Game Series Against the Boston Red Sox

    The Milwaukee Brewers will be concluding its road trip this weekend when they face the Boston Red Sox for a three-game series. The first pitch for this game will be at 6:10 p.m. CT at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts.

    In this matchup, the projected pitching matchup will be Bryse Wilson (2-1 record, 2.79 ERA) for the Brewers and Kutter Crawford (2-2 record, 2.17 ERA) for the Red Sox. Entering this weekend, the Milwaukee Brewers have a 28-21 record and are currently in first place in the National League Central.

    As for the Boston Red Sox, they are currently in third place in the American League East with a 26-24 record. Boston has been better than expected this season.

    Catcher William Contreras is projected to bat second for the Brewers against the Red Sox. In 49 games played so far this season, he has a.333 batting average with seven home runs and 40 RBIs, along with three stolen bases. His on-base percentage is .408.

    First baseman Jake Bauers is projected to bat fifth for Milwaukee. He has a .232 batting average and has played in 34 games so far this season for manager Pat Murphy. Bauers has five home runs and 22 RBIs, along with five stolen bases and one caught stealing attempt. His on-base percentage is .321.

    Bryse Wilson has pitched in 12 games so far this season and has started in six games. He has pitched in 38.2 innings and has given up 28 hits and 12 runs. Wilson has also walked 16 batters and has struck out 31 batters.

    Players To Watch For on the Boston Red Sox Against the Milwaukee Brewers

    Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora has his team fighting for a potential Wild Card spot in the American League this season. Third baseman Rafael Devers is projected to bat fourth for Boston against Milwaukee. In 39 games played so far this season, Devers has a .277 batting average with 10 home runs and 23 RBIs, along with one stolen base. His on-base percentage is .378.

    Designated hitter Tyler O’Neill is projected to bat third for the Red Sox. He has played in 39 games this year. O’Neill has a .248 batting average with 11 home runs and 17 RBIs, along with one stolen base. His on-base percentage is .358.

    Kutter Crawford has started in 10 games so far this season for the Boston Red Sox. He has pitched in 58.0 innings and has given up 48 hits and 16 runs. Crawford has walked 18 batters and has struck out 57 batters.

    This matchup on Friday night could be a pitcher’s duel. With the Brewers just 2-4 on this road trip, a series win against the Red Sox would be nice.
