The Green Bay Packers offense has sputtered at times this year. Failing to remain consistent has been their biggest issue. I am sure if you are reading this you can think of a number of three and out drives that you saw just this past week versus Chicago. The emergence of Christian Watson has taken this offense to the next level. However, adding one more weapon would be huge for this offense. As it turns out, he is already in Green Bay.
Packers Will Get Back WR Romeo Doubs After Bye Week
Matt LaFleur said he expects Romeo Doubs back for the Monday night game against the Rams after the bye. Doubs hasn’t played since his ankle injury on the first play against the Lions in Week 9. Adding Romeo Doubs opposite of Christian Watson could be a great duo. Even though they are both rookies, they have both already proven they can impact the game.
So far this season Doubs has accumulated 31 receptions on 50 targets. To go along with that he has 314 receiving yards and three scores. Most importantly, it has been obvious that he has earned Aaron Rodgers’ trust. Doubs combined with the touchdown machine Christian Watson, could help carry this offense to the next level. If Green Bay wants any shot at a playoff spot, they need to win out. Sitting at 5-8, the Packers are currently 10th in the NFC playoff standings. They’ll need to climb to 7th if they want to have a shot at a post season run. Seattle currently sits in the seventh seed with a record of 6-5.
