Green Bay Packers fans reacted strongly on social media to the news Mason Crosby signed with the Los Angeles Rams Wednesday. The former Packers kicker worked out with several teams this season before landing a gig with the Rams.
The Packers chose to give the kicking duties to Anders Carlson this season after Green Bay drafted him in April. Many fans were hoping for Crosby to return this season, even with Carlson having a good year for a rookie kicker.
The 6-6 Rams and 6-6 Packers will be in contention with each other for an NFC Wild Card spot this year. The Packers hold a tiebreaker over the Rams via their 20-3 win over Los Angeles at Lambeau Field in November.
Wouldn’t it be crazy if a Wild Card spot came down to the leg of Crosby and Carlson in their respective games in Week 18?

I trust in Mason to miss a game winning field goal that benefits the Packers in the playoff seeding. Sleeper agent installed.
