The Villanova Wildcats used to win a lot of games and championships, but those days are behind the program now. The frustration of Villanova fans of their team led to Marquette Golden Eagles star guard Tyler Kolek using it as a motivation for his team entering Tuesday’s Big East showdown at Finneran Pavilion.

Tyler Kolek Had Another Big Game for the Marquette Golden Eagles
No one from the Marquette Golden Eagles had a better performance than Kolek, who steamrolled Villanova from start to finish. Kolek went off for 32 points on 10/20 shooting from the field, while also making five of his eight tries from the 3-point area in the 85-50 Marquette victory. Moreover, Kolek dished out nine assists and grabbed six rebounds in yet another all-around brilliant showing from the senior guard.
The loss to the Golden Eagles was another lowlight for Villanova, which dropped to 11-10 overall and 4-6 in conference play. The Wildcats have also lost five games in a row. The Marquette Golden Eagles, on the other hand, are moving in a different direction, as they extended their undefeated streak to five games with a great chance of improving that run with
the lowly Georgetown Hoyas up ahead for them on Saturday.
