Class of 2021 wide receiver Markus Allen committed to Wisconsin yesterday afternoon. Allen re-opened his commitment in September after de-committing from Michigan. As a result, Wisconsin was very active in recruiting him. Allen was being heavily recruited by Wisconsin wide receiver coach Alvis Whitted.

Markus Allen is a 6’3 205 pound wide receiver from Clayton, Ohio. He received offers from Boston College, Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana, Purdue, Virginia, and many others. He joins Skyler Bell as the wide outs in the 2021 class. Allen is a three star recruit according to 24/7 Sports and a 4 star recruit from Rivals.
Allen is a big and athletic wide out. His physical attributes are similar to former Wisconisn wide receiver Quintez Cephus. Cephus made an immediate impact during his tenure at Wisconsin because of his size and his talent. As a result, Allen could make an immediate impact for Wisconsin as early as next season.
Overall, it’s hard not to get excited about the 2021 class for Wisconisn Football. The 2021 class ranks in the top top nationally. With the uncertainty of how the rest of the 2020 season will go, 2021 should be a very exciting year. I can’t wait to see how the 2021 class pans out over the next four and five years!
