They’ve done it. The Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Clippers have finally struck a deal for former NBA MVP James Harden. It was a long time coming, but the two sides have finally agreed on a number that will grant Harden his wish not only to leave Philly, but to join his desired team as well.
James Harden Traded to Clippers

News broke in the wee hours of Tuesday morning (at least in Eastern Time) that Harden is finally on the move. NBA insiders Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN and Shams Charania of The Athletic reported the blockbuster trade almost at the same time:

According to reports, below are the full details of the blockbuster deal:
Clippers get: James Harden, PJ Tucker
76ers get: Nicolas Batum, Marcus Morris, Robert Covington, KJ Martin, draft picks

As of writing, the details of the “draft picks” portion of the deal have yet to be made public. Obviously, the nature of these said picks will have a significant impact on Philadelphia’s haul.
At this point, however, it seems like the Clippers are the big winners of this deal now that they’ve got the 10-time All-Star on their squad without having to give up any of their key players in this massive transaction.
James Harden is also obviously a winner here as he joins his fourth team in four years.
