Khris Middleton was a notable absentee for the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday night as they took down the Sacramento Kings in incredible fashion. The Bucks were playing on a second night of a back-to-back set following Saturday’s win over the Golden State Warriors, which prompted a customary night off for Middleton.
With the Bucks back in action on Wednesday to face the Cleveland Cavaliers, the fans surely want to know: Is Khris Middleton playing tonight vs. the Cavs?
Khris Middleton Good to Go for Milwaukee Bucks
Middleton’s absence on Sunday night was nothing more than a maintenance day for the 32-year-old veteran. He was able to suit up for the Bucks’ last back-to-back set in December, but the team opted not to force the issue on Sunday.
Be that as it may, the good news for Milwaukee fans is that Middleton has been cleared to play on Wednesday against the Cavs. The three-time All-Star was not listed on the injury report, which means that he should resume his usual role in the starting lineup.
Middleton was outstanding in his last appearance for the Bucks as he logged 24 points on 10-of-13 shooting, three rebounds, 10 assists, a steal, a block, and three triples against the Warriors. He will now be looking to pick up right where he left off against the Cavs.
