While they may not possess Giannis Antetokounmpo’s innate talent on the court, the Milwaukee Bucks star’s brothers have always found a way to play for an NBA team over the years. Meanwhile, Alex, the youngest of the bunch, is playing ball in Lithuania and has been suspended recently.
Giannis Antetokounmpo first entered the league in 2013 as the Bucks 15th overall pick in that year’s draft. Since then, the Greek Freak has moved up the ladder and won Most Improved Player of the Year, a pair of MVPs, and Defensive Player of the Year.

Milwaukee’s franchise star would go on to win the big one when Antetokounmpo led his team to win the championship in 2021 over the Phoenix Suns. Along with a Finals MVP, the All-Star forward’s legacy in the NBA was cemented.
For his part, Thanasis joined his brother in Milwaukee during the 2019-20 season. From that point on, the forward notched 2.4 points and 1.6 rebounds in the five years he has played for the Bucks. Meanwhile, Kostas joined his brothers as champions when he became part of the 2020 Los Angeles Lakers team that won the championship inside the Bubble in Orlando.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Younger Brother Suspended In Lithuania

Although Kostas and Thanasis are recognized as official NBA players, Alex wasn’t. The fourth-youngest Antetokounmpo was only able to play for the Toronto Raptors, Sacramento Kings, and Bucks’ affiliate teams in the G-League.
With nothing happening in his NBA career, Alex found himself playing for Mazeikiai M Basket-Delamode in the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL). In an article posted on Basketnews, though, the Antetokounmpo brother was recently suspended by his team.
“Mazeikiai M Basket-Delamode have suspended their player Alex Antetokounmpo just ahead of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) playoffs, according to BasketNews sources.
The 22-year-old forward has been separated from the team and will undergo individual training for a week. BasketNews tried contacting the team director, Arunas Liskus, but he refused to comment on the situation,” the article stated.
Months after he left the G-League, Alex joined Mazeikiai and averaged 8.6 points and 2.5 rebounds in 15.5 minutes per contest. He also shot 51 percent from inside the arc, 26 percent from deep, and 62 percent from the free-throw line.

Alex’s future in Lithuania remains unsure as his older brother recuperates from a calf strain that kept him out of the playoffs recently. In any case, the youngest Antetokounmpo is still 22 years old and still has a chance to make it to the NBA.
