The Indiana Pacers are officially the No. 6 seed in the East. They made easy work of the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday, 157-115, to close out the regular season. Next up for them is none other than Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.
Tyrese Haliburton, who himself is a Milwaukee native, will be taking part in his first-ever playoff series, and he believes it’s only fitting that he gets to do so against the Bucks.
Indiana Pacers News: Tyrese Haliburton Raring to Go Vs. Bucks

Haliburton finished Sunday’s emphatic statement win over Atlanta with another impressive 12-point, 13-assist double-double. After the victory, the All-Star point guard was asked to share his thoughts on Indiana’s upcoming postseason showdown against the Bucks.
According to Haliburton, he’s very much looking forward to the prospect:
“It’ll be fun,” Haliburton said. “It’s a really good team. We’ve obviously had some battles here so excited to play against them.”
The 24-year-old also stated that everything that happened in the regular season no longer matters at this point. The Pacers went 4-1 against the Bucks this year, but as Haliburton said, all that means nothing come playoff time.
Tyrese Haliburton Heads Home

Haliburton, who was born and raised in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, still considers Milwaukee as home. His family and friends still reside in the city, which is why he’s relishing the opportunity to face the Bucks in the Playoffs:
“It’s home for me so I’m excited to be playing there,” he continued. “It’s kind of a storybook for me to be playing in the crib in my first playoff series so I’m excited for that.”

You can be sure, however, that Bucks fans won’t be giving Haliburton a warm welcome when the series heads to Milwaukee.
