The Milwaukee Bucks are looking to force a Game 7 in this best-of-seven series against the Indiana Pacers. Milwaukee heading into Game 6 will not have it any easier than they did entering Game 5. Tipoff for Game 6 will be at 5:30 CT and the game will be televised on TNT.
Entering Game 6, four players are listed as game-time decisions, but Patrick Beverley and Khris Middleton are expected to play. Meanwhile, superstars Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard are trending towards doubtful and not playing in Game 6.
Antetokounmpo has not played at all in this series for the Milwaukee Bucks against the Indiana Pacers. Lillard has played in a few games this series but being out with an injury potentially once again is tough. The projected starting lineup in Game 6 for the Bucks will be Patrick Beverley, MarJon Beauchamp, Khris Middleton, Bobby Portis Jr., and Brook Lopez.
The fact that Beauchamp is potentially moving into the starting lineup in an elimination game over Malik Beasley is quite something. That is an interesting message being sent by head coach Doc Rivers.
During the Game 5 win, Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis Jr. each scored 29 points for Milwaukee against Indiana. Three other players for the Bucks also scored in double figures in Game 5 against Indiana in a 115-92 win.
Indiana Pacers Projected Lineup For Game 6 Against the Milwaukee Bucks
For Game 6, the projected starting lineup for the Pacers against the Bucks will be Tyrese Haliburton, Aaron Nembhard, Aaron Nesmith, Pascal Siakam, and Myles Turner. Haliburton is listed as a game-time decision, but he is expected to be good to play in Game 6.
Head coach Rick Carlisle is hoping his team can close it out in Game 6 against the Bucks. Haliburton led the way in Game 5 for Indiana with 16 points. They will need more from Myles Turner and Pascal Siakam in Game 6 if they want to close out the Bucks in this series.
Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis Jr. will need to play hero ball again in order to force a Game 7. They have to keep their emotions in check because Portis Jr. was ejected in Game 4 in the first quarter when they last played in Indiana.
If the Milwaukee Bucks were to win this matchup, Game 7 would be on Saturday night back in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The time of that contest has yet to be determined if it gets to that point.
