On Tuesday, the Green Bay Packers showed interest in adding to the quarterback position after a heartbreaking loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2. The Packers will play a 2-0 New Orleans Saints in Week 3.
The Packers offense is dealing with several key injuries to the offense this week. Running back Aaron Jones was out in Week 2 with a hamstring injury. It isn’t known when Elgton Jenkins and David Bakhtiari, who are dealing with knee injuries, will be back on the field.
The Green Bay Packers worked out QB Holton Ahlers
The Packers appear to want to ensure the backup quarterback is in good hands should Jordan Love go down with an injury due to an ailing offensive line. According to Aaron Wilson with KPRC, the Packers worked out quarterback Holton Ahlers on Tuesday.

Ahlers is a UDFA initially signed by the Seattle Seahawks after April’s draft. In the preseason, Ahlers went 9/14 passing for 98 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
Ahlers played at East Carolina in college. Ahlers completed 60.7 percent of his passes in college for 13,927 yards, 97 touchdowns, and 37 interceptions.
The Packers have not signed Ahlers as of this publishing.
