The Green Bay Packers are in the midst of yet another fascinating off-season. Last off-season the major Davante Adams trade saw #17 depart Green Bay for the Las Vegas Raiders. Of course, this off-season was headlined by the franchise-altering Aaron Rodgers trade. The entire NFL has seen a number of shocking trades go down over the last two off-seasons, could there be one more on the way?
Green Bay Packers Trade Report For Davante Adams Would Enrage Aaron Rodgers

Recently Mark Powell published an article stating that Davante was clearly unhappy in Las Vegas.
Raiders: Davante Adams doesn’t sound happy in Las Vegas
“They (the front office) think this is the best bet for us right now to put us in a position to be urgent. We don’t see eye-to-eye on what we think is best for us right now,” Adams said, per The Ringer. “If we play a certain brand of ball, I can get [Garoppolo] to conform to whatever. But if we use him a certain type of way, then it’s going to make it tough for us to maximize who we should be this year.”
Adams doesn’t sound happy about the Raiders long-term vision. With Carr, he was playing with a former Pro Bowler and MVP candidate. Not to mention, it was one of his best friends. That made leaving a future Hall of Famer like Aaron Rodgers all the more tolerable.
Now, with Rodgers traded to the New York Jets — a move the Raiders reportedly did not consider despite his connection with Adams — one has to wonder what the hell happened to this former dynamic duo?
Either way, Adams isn’t happy. That much is clear.
Since the end of the season, the Raiders have moved on from one of the biggest reasons why Adams wanted to go to Vegas in the first place, QB Derek Carr. On top of that, they never once seemed to seriously consider trading for four-time MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers. With all of that being said, could Adams’ time with the Las Vegas Raiders be numbered? Could the Green Bay Packers swoop in and get their guy back? Multiple outlets have rumored this to be a possibility.
Trade Report That Would Send Davante Adams Back To Green Bay
Delray has Green Bay sending tackle Yosh Nijman, a second-round pick, and a third-rounder to the Raiders for Adams. The Packers bring home one of the greatest wide receivers in franchise history. Here are the full details of the trade proposal:
Green Bay Packers Receive:
Wide Receiver Davante Adams
Las Vegas Raiders Receive:
Offensive Tackle Yosh Nijman
2024 2nd-Round Pick
2024 3rd-Round Pick
Adams getting traded to Las Vegas a year ago was surprising. This would top that.
It would be an incredible move for Jordan Love. For Aaron Rodgers? Not so much. Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb will join Rodgers with the New York Jets, but can you imagine Adams becoming available via trade and the Packers making a deal ahead of the Jets?
The real winner would be Love.
The Green Bay Packers getting Davante Adams back one year after they traded him, and in the same off-season that Aaron Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets, would surely make the four-time MVP quarterback feel some type of way. Rodgers had been vocal about how he tried to recruit Adams to stay in Green Bay, however, it was “obvious his mind was already made up.”
Meanwhile Aaron Rodgers has the likes of Nathaniel Hackett, Randall Cobb, Allen Lazard, and Billy Turner with him in New York for the 2023 season. It seems as though Rodgers likes to keep playing with those he teamed up with in Green Bay.

I want Adams back, but that’s a steep trade to me. Yosh Nijman is a great player, and shouldn’t be in the deal.
