The Green Bay Packers will need to find a running back in the 2024 NFL Draft and one of the names that has come up is New Hampshire Wildcats running back Dylan Laube.
Laube has been with New Hampshire for the past few seasons in the FCS.
There is always an FCS prospect that always gets mentioned throughout the NFL Draft process. He is the latest prospect to be mentioned. Green Bay will need a running back this offseason.
A season ago, he rushed for 715 yards on 158 carries and nine touchdowns, along with averaging 4.5 yards per carry.
Dylan Laube also caught 68 passes for 699 yards receiving and seven touchdowns. He would be a great third-down running back with some other potential as well.
Laube would be a very good third-day selection in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Packers have 11 selections in the 2024 NFL Draft. General manager Brian Gutekunst will probably use one or two of those selections on a running back.
Green Bay Packers Scouts Will Have Its Eyes on New Hampshire Wildcats Dylan Laube at the NFL Scouting Combine
With the NFL scouting combine currently taking place in Indianapolis, Indiana, the Packers will have their eyes on several running back prospects.
Laube is going to be a name that can very well be on the rise in a hurry. Sayre Bedinger of lombardiave.com has Dylan Laube as one of the players to keep an eye on during the NFL scouting combine.
He wrote in his column by saying about Laube:
“It probably won’t be long before New Hampshire running back Dylan Laube can’t be considered “underrated” anymore, but for the time being, he fits this category. The Packers will be in the market for some running back help this offseason with AJ Dillon slated for free agency, and Laube has a really intriguing skill set as an all-purpose back who truly did it all at New Hampshire. He was tremendous as a traditional running back, but did great work as a receiver and return specialist as well. Laube had an awesome week at the Senior Bowl and will undoubtedly continue to improve his stock at the Combine.”
Dylan Laube can catch passes out of the backfield like Aaron Jones can. That would help quarterback Jordan Love out a lot. A.J. Dillon doesn’t appear to be coming back to the Green Bay Packers. Laube won’t be the only running back they are going to be scouting.
