The Green Bay Packers have been dealing with injuries all season. Ahead of their week 9 matchup with the Rams, things were looking up. Everyone practiced on Thursday in some capacity but there was one player that was added to the list. Safety Rudy Ford was added to the injury report with a calf injury.
#packers coach Matt LaFleur says Jaire Alexander, Elgton Jenkins, Luke Musgrave, Yosh Nijman and Rudy Ford were limited in today's practice. A calf injury for Ford.

Green Bay Packers Rudy Ford Added To Injury Report
Ford has been one of the bright spots for the defense. Safety was a position that was a glaring weakness for the Packers but Ford has played extremely well. He has 48 tackles, 4 pass deflected, and 2 interceptions on the season which is more than can be said for a lot of members of the Packers’ secondary. He was limited in practice on Thursday which caused him to be added to the report. Indications are that while it is something they are monitoring, it may not keep him out of Sunday’s game.
Another Soft Tissue Injury
I don’t know what the record for soft tissue injuries in a season is but the Packers are fast approaching it. Aaron Jones is still limited in practice with his hamstring injury and Christian Watson also dealt with a hamstring issue at the beginning of the season. Darnell Savage is on the IR with a calf injury and De’Vondre Campbell has been recovering from an ankle issue. Ford is just the latest in a string of Packers to be dealing with soft tissue problems and head coach Matt LaFleur admitted they are looking into the issue.
Hopefully, Ford will be good to go for the Green Bay Packers. It is good news that he was just limited and didn’t miss practice altogether. The Packers will need him on Sunday if they are going to take down the Rams.
