However, the Green Bay Packers did suffer some injuries in the first game. Starting running back Aaron Jones, and linebacker Quay Walker were sidelined in Chicago. Jones left the game with a hamstring injury after scoring a touchdown through the air, and on the ground for the Packers in their 38-20 win.

Linebacker Quay Walker made a big play as he intercepted the Bears quarterback, Justin Fields, in the final quarter. Walker was hit by a Bears offensive lineman when he reached the end zone and was later put into concussion protocol.

The Packers could definitely use the second-year wide receiver on offense going forward. Romeo Doubs was able to play in the first game after being listed as questionable before playing the Chicago Bears.

Last season, Christian Watson caught 41 passes for 611 yards and had seven total receiving touchdowns for the Green Bay Packers.
Rookie wide receiver Jayden Reed was able to step up, with 48 yards receiving as a starter in his absence.
