The Green Bay Packers (2-2) will face the Las Vegas Raiders (1-3) in their next game on Monday Night Football. This will be Raiders’ wide receiver Davante Adams‘ first game against the Packers since being traded after last season. Green Bay is coming off of an embarrassing loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 4 by a score of 34-20.
The Packers offensive line allowed five sacks against the Lions. Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love completed 64% of his passes but did not have a lot of protection during the last game. On Saturday, head coach Matt Lafleur said that the team had one of their better weeks of practice, and the team chemistry with the four-year quarterback and young wide receivers is growing.

Green Bay will need that chemistry and connection as the season progresses. The offensive line will have to give their guy under center more time to throw to those young receivers. Jordan Love has some accuracy with his receivers, but it could always improve and grow.

Jordan Love’s Stats In Week 4
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love went 23-36 for 246 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions against the Detroit Lions. Heading into Week 5, Love is 74-132 for 901 yards, with eight touchdowns, and three interceptions in the early season. He has completed 56.1% of his passes, which is close to the bottom of the league.

One of the main improvements for Packers quarterback, Jordan Love is completion percentage. He talked about it last week during a weekly press conference saying; “My thing is just completions,” Love said Thursday. “Going out there and getting positive plays and just finding completions on every play.”
According to Matt Lafleur, this past week of practice helped him improve his chemistry with the young wide receivers. Hopefully, it shows in the Green Bay Packers game on Monday night in Las Vegas.
Packers Wide Receivers
The Green Bay Packers offense is the youngest unit in the league. The Packers are the youngest team overall out of every squad in the NFL. They have three second-year wide receivers who returned from their rookie season in Romeo Doubs, Samori Toure, and Christian Watson. Doubs up to this point is considered the number one pass-catcher with 20 receptions for 224 yards, and three touchdowns.
Rookie wideouts Jayden Reed and DonTayvion Wicks are getting experience on the field in the absence of Christian Watson who had been out with a hamstring injury. Watson did get some playing time in the game against the Lions scoring the Packers’ only touchdown on Thursday Night Football.

Reed has shown his versatility downfield with some clutch catches, and extra yards with 12 catches for 203 yards, and two touchdowns so far this season. His speed should help the Green Bay Packers reach the end zone more this year. Hopefully, things get better in the Packers’ passing game as the weeks go forward.
The first test to see growth will be on Monday Night Football against the Raiders at 8:15 on ESPN. Fans would love to see the Green Bay Packers get back in the win column and go above .500 on the season!
