The Green Bay Packers seem overwhelmingly concerned with one part of their game before training camp–the passing attack. The Packers signed a quarterback this week and worked out two wide receivers as the Packers try to finalize their camp roster.
The Packers now have four quarterbacks on their roster after signing Alex McGough from the USFL. Head coach Matt LaFleur said this spring he’d look at signing a veteran quarterback before camp as Jordan Love, Danny Etling, and Sean Clifford hadn’t had much game experience. McGough answers that, although his playing time came from another league.
LaFleur said earlier this offseason the team could look to add a veteran receiver. The Packers have two rookies at tight end and a wide receiver corps filled up with rookies and second-year players. The Packers worked out two wide receivers this week to potentially add to their camp roster to add competition to the locker room.

According to Aaron Wilson with KPRC, the Green Bay Packers worked out wide receivers Malik Flowers and Justin Marshall. They also worked out defensive back Christian Morgan.

Flowers is an undrafted rookie free agent who played college football at Montana. He signed with the New Orleans Saints earlier this offseason.
Flowers was exceptional at returning kicks in college. He tied the FCS record for touchdown returns with seven. Flowers’ efforts last season earned him second-team All-American honors.

Marshall is an undrafted rookie free agent initially signed by the Atlanta Falcons after playing college football for Buffalo in 2022 after transferring from Louisville. Marshall led Buffalo in receiving last year with 64 catches for 834 yards and nine touchdowns.
McGough is the only player the Packers worked out Tuesday who has been signed. The Packers could sign any of the three shortly or pass after the workout. But we know the Packers are thinking of adding to the wide receiver and defensive back positions before camp.
