The Green Bay Packers are still reeling from their Week 2 loss against the Atlanta Falcons. They are currently preparing for Sunday’s matchup against the New Orleans Saints as they look to get back to winning ways after going 1-1 in their first two games of the season.
Be that as it may, this hasn’t stopped a couple of Packers players from making a heartwarming gesture for a handful of young kids who have been afflicted with The Big C.
Green Bay Packers’ Luke Musgrave, Tucker Kraft Visit Cancer Patients

Packers tight ends Luke Musgrave and Tucker Kraft took time out of their busy schedules on Tuesday to pay a visit to Children’s Wisconsin Milwaukee Hospital. They spent time with young Green Bay fans who are currently battling childhood cancer in what was a truly heartwarming gesture from the pair.
According to a report by Drake Bentley of the milwaukee journal sentinel, Musgrave and Kraft happily played games with the patients and their families in attendance.
While it was an unforgettable experience for the kids, it also turned out to be an eye-opening moment for the Packers players:
“You guys should be giving me signatures,” Kraft said to the kids in a video. “You guys are the real warriors.”

Musgrave and Kraft also signed autographs for the kids and everyone else in attendance. A lot of credit needs to be given to the two tight ends as well as the Packers organization for lifting the spirits of the young patients.
Children’s Wisconsin ‘Immensely Grateful’ to Green Bay Packers

Vice president of engagement & stewardship for Children’s Wisconsin Christine Baranoucky had nothing but good things to say about the visit as she thanked the team and the players for a gesture that will certainly go a long way:
“Seeing the kids’ faces light up when the Packers players walked in was truly heartwarming,” said Baranoucky.
“Moments like this allow kids to be kids and forget about their treatment, even if just for a little while. We’re immensely grateful to the Packers for their support and the joy they bring to the community. Go Pack Go!”
This visit was part of the organization’s Packers vs. Cancer initiative — a movement that was launched seven years ago to raise funds and awareness for all types of cancers.
