Earlier this week, Packers legends Jordy Nelson and Josh Sitton were rightfully inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame. Both of these players played a crucial role in the Packers success for many seasons.
Josh Sitton was a Key Part of Protecting Aaron Rodgers
Josh Sitton was drafted by the Packers in the 2008 NFL Draft in the fourth round. He became a crucial part of the offensive line, even protecting quarterback Aaron Rodgers during their Super Bowl Victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2011.
Sitton had career full of accolades, he is a Superbowl Champion, one time 1st team All-Pro, and a two time 2nd All-Pro. Not to mention his 4 Pro Bowl Appearances. He played eight seasons with the Packers and always showed how proud he was to wear the green and yellow by embracing toughness and consistency during every season. He also showed versatility playing left and right guard.
Sitton was all smiles during the ceremony. He went up to take his Hall of Fame ring with a massive grin on his face. He will always be remembered by Packers nation.

Jordy Nelson was an Elite Pass Catcher and Set a Standard for Packers Receiverâs to Follow
Jordy Nelson played for the Packers from 2008-2017 and was drafted in the 2008 NFL draft. He was one of Aaron Rodgers favorite targets. He led the league in receiving touchdowns in 2016. He was seen as an underrated player, only making 2nd team All-Pro once in 2014. He was feared by defenses though and was also part of the Packers 2011 Super bowl Winning team.
In 2016, Nelson came back from an ACL tear the previous year. He had a great season and won Comeback Player of the Year. Which he sees as one of his greatest accomplishments.
âWe talked about it right after surgery, that was the goal.â

Jordy Nelson finished 6th all time in receiving yards in Packers History which is an impressive accolade when you think about some of the pass catchers to play for the Packers.
Both these players came into the league together in 2008, so it was only right they were inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame together. These two helped set a standard that hopefully some of the young talent Packers can follow. Recreating this type of success does not come easy.
