The Green Bay Packers are looking younger and faster on the offensive side of the ball. The incredible amount of personnel turnover in one off-season has ushered in a new era in Green Bay. Led by Jordan Love, the Packers are looking to Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, Luke Musgrave, and Tucker Kraft to be the new receiving threats in town. Of course, you can’t forget about Aaron Jones out of the backfield. However, adding another 24-year-old wide receiver who has solidified himself in this league would do wonders.
The Green Bay Packers Land Wide Receiver Tee Higgins In Massive Trade Idea With The Cincinnati Bengals (NFL)
The Bengals have publicly shot down any speculation that TeeHiggins is available for trade, but he’s a logical trade target based on the Bengals’ financial situation.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Joe Burrow is expected to become the highest-paid player in the NFL at some point this off-season. Then you consider that Ja’Marr Chase will likely get a market-setting or top-of-the-market contract when his time comes and it gets harder to see the Bengals being able to fit their three offensive stars under the cap while still building a contender. This is where the Packers could come in.
A former Clemson star, Higgins has earned his keep in the NFL since the Bengals took him in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Higgins has 215 receptions for 3,028 yards and 19 touchdowns in 46 career games with the Bengals.
He’s also a solid playoff performer with six games of experience. Higgins tallied 31 catches for 457 yards and three touchdowns during the Bengals’ past two playoff runs.
What Would A Packers-Bengals Trade Look Like For Tee Higgins?
In order to pry away a 24-year-old star from a contending team, you need to offer something pretty intriguing. That is exactly what this trade proposal looks like:
Green Bay Packers Receive:
- Wide Receiver Tee Higgins
Cincinnati Bengals Receive:
- 2024 First Round Draft Pick
- 2024 Fifth Round Draft Pick
Giving up a first round draft pick for a long-term weapon seems like the going rate nowadays. While Higgins hasn’t been the number one guy in Cincinnati, he has proved he can drastically change the outcome of games. Adding another young weapon for Jordan Love would be huge for this offense in both the short term and long term.

That’s laughable. Higgins is a potential top 5 receiver. You’re not getting that back from a 1st and 5th.
Seems like any logic went out the window and out of state when Rodgers left. Bengals would never surrender a proven receiver for just a 1st and a 5th. Even if they were to trade him, they would seek at least a 1st and a 2nd.
