The Green Bay Packers and Jordan Love shocked the NFL world in 2023. After many thought the Packers would flounder after the franchise-altering Aaron Rodgers trade, they wound up being one of the final four remaining teams left standing in the NFC. The Packers had a multitude of memorable games last season, however, one stuck out for Packers’ QB Jordan Love.
Green Bay Packers Quarterback Jordan Love Remembers One Defense More Than The Rest From The 2023 Season
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love ranked the toughest defenses he faced this season on Radio Row during Super Bowl LVIII.
According to Love’s list, the Kansas City Chiefs are ranked No. 1. Not surprising, considering Steve Spagnuolo’s defense finished the regular season ranked second in yards allowed and sacks.
In spite of throwing for 256 yards and three touchdowns against the Minnesota Vikings on Dec. 31, Love ranked their defense second. As for San Francisco 49ers’ defense, it ranked third out of all the teams he faced this season.
Despite saying the Chiefs had the best defense he faced this season, Love told Dan Patrick on Friday that he’d like another chance at the 49ers.
“Being a competitor I’d like to see that #Niners team to be able to prove that we can beat them,” Love said.
The Packers won’t play the 49ers or the Chiefs in 2024 during the regular season. The only way Love can get another shot at the 49ers will have to take place in the playoffs. The Chiefs, meanwhile? The Packers will have to take them on in Super Bowl 59.
