The Green Bay Packers got back to winning ways on Sunday with a hard-fought victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, 23-20. Thanks to the heroics of quarterback Jordan Love, the Packers are now 4-6 as they quickly turn the page on last week’s deflating 23-19 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Jordan Love did not have a perfect outing in this one, but you could say that this was one of, if not his best performances as a pro. The 25-year-old finished the game with 27-of-40 completed passes for 322 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions.

Apart from the fact that this was the first time Love eclipsed the 300-yard mark in his career, it’s also the first time a Green Bay quarterback has achieved this feat since Aaron Rodgers last did it against their bitter rivals, the Chicago Bears, back in 2021.

Talk about a historic evening right?

It was also Love’s 24-yard pass to wide receiver Romeo Doubs with a little over two minutes left in the fourth quarter that allowed the Packers to take the lead late in the game. They would eventually hold on to mark their fourth win of the campaign.

LOVE TO DOUBS. Packers regain the lead with 2 minutes left!

The fans obviously loved what they saw from their cornerstone quarterback in this one. They made their feelings abundantly clear on Twitter:

    • 322 yards
    • 2 TDs
    • 108.5 passer rating

    A. Most complete game yet, hopefully this helps his confidence in the long run and helps kickstart a stretch of real good football for him and Green Bay

It has been an up-and-down campaign for the young QB, but it’s performances like these that remind all of us that Love is indeed the real deal.
