The Green Bay Packers got a huge win on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. A 23-20 win brought the Packers to 4-6 on the year and increased their chances for an improbable playoff run. The win featured a lot of young weapons making an impact for the team, including Jordan Love, Jayden Reed, Tucker Kraft, and Dontayvion Wicks.
Unfortunately, on a day headlined by injuries, the Packers suffered another one in the late stages of their win.
The Green Bay Packers Lose Wide Receiver Dontayvion Wicks In The Final Stages Of Their Win Against The Los Angeles Chargers
A head injury suffered by Wicks during Sunday’s game against the Chargers forced him to miss the rest of the game.
The five targets Wicks received in Week 11 led to three catches for 91 yards. Although he was checked for a concussion around the two-minute warning in the fourth quarter, a diagnosis may not be made until Sunday Night or early this coming week. Wicks played a huge role in the Packers’ win today, here are some of his highlights:

It is very early, however, it feels like the Packers may have found a special one in Dontayvion Wicks.
Dontayvion Wicks should be one of the Packers’ main wide receivers moving forward. Wicks is a fifth-round rookie from Virginia who earned his way onto Green Bay’s 53-man roster. Dontayvion Wicks caught three passes for 51 yards against Pittsburgh on last week.
Recently, he has been getting open consistently for this offense and has played very well. Love has a passer rating of 101.5 when targeting him this season (prior to their matchup against the Chargers).
Thankfully, a concussion is rarely a long-term injury and Wicks will hopefully be back next week when the Packers travel to Detroit.
